2011 car plans....

Will hopefully keep the ZS for a while. When my apprenticeship is over and I get a 'proper' job I'll think about getting something better screwed together. God knows where I'll be working though, if its close to home I'll get something silly with a big engine, if its a long way a nice big comfy sofa car :)

In 2011 I will be enjoying my car. I've spent a lot of money on it in the last 12 months getting it up to scratch and I just need to get some new front tyres and it will be. Then in early 2012 I will be looking into 335i's, but for the moment I am totally happy with the car and there's nothing that I would change about it really!

My car will pretty much be staying as it is this year, apart from i need to replace the rusting head light cover, spray the mud flaps and probably underseal the car.

Sell the Micra when I graduate as at this point I will have had it nearly 6 years (comfort, speed and street cred aside it has been perfect).

Would like either a 2005-2007 ish Mondeo or a 2004-2005 ish Octavia VRS. May be a 2004 ish Leon Cupra.

Either way, come a graduate job, the Micra is being upgraded!

In the next couple of months i plan to get either a Jeep Cherokee, Subaru Forrester, or a pick up. Saw a cracking pickup last week for $5k but the MPG was 11/15 :(

I have no plans to change or buy another car this year, work will be busy so I'll probably be away most of the time.

The car is in currently having the rear diff pinion seals changed. After that I'm thinking of a couple of mods to liven things up a bit:

Supersprint exhausts with an x-pipe or possibly the same setup from Evolve.
New wheels or a refurb from Rimfurbish
Fancy a Stoptech big brake kit, but i'm unlikely to do any trackdays so it's pointless.

Depends on the work situation, will either be keeping the Impreza (possibly remap it) or getting something more economical if I have to go further afield for work.

But unless I can change to a job that's the same wage or more nothing exciting will be happening.

Flog MR2
Scrap 406
Buy house close to work
Buy silly unreliable french hot hatch

My plan is to cycle as much as possible. Driving is so expensive that it's fast becoming a luxury when I work so close to home, especially with the immense fitness benefits of cycling 8 miles every day. Got lights for Christmas so no excuses not to now.

Looking at replacing one of my Q7s. I'll be looking closely at the new S8 when it's available. 620BHP, 4WD and super-comfort sounds very appealing.

Currently got an mgzr had it a year and going to keep it for about 6months more. Then looking at something along the line of mondeo/fiesta ST.
Would love the focus st but i think it will be a bit out of price range.
