best bike engined kit car?

i've asked many times before about it but which is the best for someone who doesn't have a bottomless pit of money (no aeriel atoms etc lol) and is 'ok' with a set of spanners?

overall the best value at the minute?
 
Are you asking which is the best engine? or which complete package is best?

I would say the MNR with a new ZX10 engine would be best. Not the most powerfull but the best deal and not slow.

Engine wise its the busa, but its a lot of money and thats why i went ZX12 when i upgraded from an old CBR1000F engine. A massive difference and so much nicer to drive and run.

Mk Indy and Mac 1 are the next ones.

However i think the Dax rush is the best looking, just heavy and large so better suited to V8's (which i love too). The dax is like a hotrod version of the others mentioned above IMHO.

If i was going to build one myself now i would go single seater and R1, i bet they get even more attention than the one i already have. :eek:

i'm asking best overall combo i guess. i'd figured the busa the best engine coz of the cubes (hence less stress on engine), and was looking at mk indys but wasn't sure which else.

won't be going single seater as i'd like to whoop my mate and i'll have to bring him back when his 600bhp cozzy melts lol. at least until 100 mph lol

i'll have look at mnr though thanks.

The main thing with a busa is the aftermarket items for it as its the best engine for drag bike so it has a lot of upgrades. Only broblem is you really need a dry sump for it so it adds money and more tech to go wrong.

Also goto some shows and sit in the cars, if youre a big lad you might find some of them are too small.
 
I'm building an r1 engined MK Indy, almost done now :)
But if I was going to build another it would be an MNR, the quality is slightly better imo, thought at a price. The Indy is very good value for money, and I think a bit better looking.

i'd go for the GSXR 1000 engine k5 onwards or busa.

Ive always wanted to buy a old mini cooper and strip it and put a bike engine in it and turbo it too :)
