hey guys, I awlways seem to be posting problems on here, not much else lol.
I'm having some issues with either my graphics card or my monitor. I'm not sure which is the problem, but neither are more than 4 months old.

The issue itself is small flashing pixels (Or Unidentified Flashing Objects) on some of the colours on my screen. I've googled the problem, with people suggesting that the problem is caused by either my monitor or the graphics card.

I've just installed GPU-Z, which is telling me that the card is at 40degrees, and it's not overclocked (I wouldn't know where to start lol).

I suppose it would help if you knew what hardware I'm using lol, I'm on a HIS HD6850, with my monitor being the iiyama ProLite E2407HDS.

Thanks for any help :)

And Happy New Year Too!

your right, its most likely monitor or graphics card, only way to know for sure is to try the machine on a different monitor. Although if the pixels that keep flashing are constantly changing its more likely that itll be the graphics card.

I've got a similar problem with a pixel on my iiyama screen where the pixel shows red on certain backgrounds but on light colours it disappears

thats a stuck pixel, there are some apps that you can run on that area of the screen that sometimes fix them, or you can gently massage the area and it sometimes becomes unstuck
