I already have CoH and Opposing Fronts on disc. If I get Tales of Valour through Steam, am I right in thinking I can just run Tales of Valour and it'll detect that I have all of the games, or should I also get the Gold pack for the extra £3.74?

Yup, it's all linked to your Relic account. You don't even need to download/install ToV if you've got it installed already. Just click the "CD Key" link to the right of the Details view, and then in CoH, go to your account page, and register a product.

Of course, the other option is to download it via Steam, and then you don't ever need to worry about your discs again - and you'll be able to track the amount of time you play it, too

Thanks, I might just purchase the whole lot as it is hardly a lot of money really Patching the originals used to be a real pain, I'm guessing Steam takes this step out by doing it automatically right?

The last time I did it, I had to keep pressing buttons to get it going each time one was finished to move onto the next one, and then it stopped working and I ended up having to download the entire lot of them and patch it all manually. Their patching process used to be pretty crap.

Just a little heads up for you - if you're a single player, the Tales of Valour pack is very short - start a campaign and after 3 missions you get the credits (there's a few campaigns). Not too big a deal if you're a big fan of the game, or play online, but worth knowing.

Same here patching was a nightmare, quick question on COH Vanilla actually, I bought COH Directx 10 Edition which comes with a second disc to upgrade to the DX10 edition, is the version in the Gold Pack going to be the same?

You just have to wait and see at 6pm! My rig runs the game fine, its quite fun and gets quite hard near the end!

could i ask, ive never played the first, but, is supreme commander worth it ? its £4.99, i bum command and conquer style games so this looks quite interesting.

I thought the demo seemed fun so picked it up, give the demo a try lets you play a few missions.

I use a stock i7 and a 5770.

I can run it at 1080p, Highest detail, Motion blur off, V sync on (without there's a lot of frame drops) and 4xAA. I get a constant 60fps except one bit it dropped to 47fps but that's hardly a dramatic drop in performance

It's generally inclusive so there will be a fresh set of deals at 6pm today but they're likely to games that have already been on offer.

It'll run fine, I have a 1GB 4870 and a Phenom II triple core, ran smooth as silk

I've just finished the main story of Ego Draconis,If you enjoy games like The Witcher and Dragon Age you will almost certianly enjoy Divinity 2.

Took me about 45 hours for the first part of the story and ive just started the expansion that comes with it and it seems ok also, carries the story straight on seemlesly.

I bought the CoH pack and it won't let me create a relic online account. It says "your account has been banned. Please email blah blah" Anyone know what's going on? This is VERY annoying.
