My new blog project.

Afternoon.

As part of my New Year's Resolution I've decided to keep a new blog during 2011 which I am aiming to post on once per day. It's a desperate bid to get my creative juices flowing but will hopefully prove an entertaining read.

Granted, there's only my opening post, but just in case some of you guys like these things, keep an eye on it :)

If I can write down half the **** I think about or moan about during the day I'll be ok. I fully expect to fail, it's in my nature :p but I'm going to give it a bloody good go!

How about if i promise to read it everyday as long as you post, but not a day after if you forget.

Harsh but fair sir. Haha well done though, i'd be far too lazy to do something like this.
 
If you've not already done so, you could join the OneADay group who are doing exactly what you're planning. Have a shufti here.
 
Surely your username would've been a better name for the blog, as it's going to be a daily post!
 
I'm going to restart my blog too, after seeing that OneADay project and yours. Started it in September but lost motivation halfway through October.

It's annoying, because I don't like to think of it as a chore; that's the problem with trying to get x number of posts per day.

I have a very rarely used blog called dailygeek which I've posted to about 5 times when I've been bored. I'm starting afresh so thought i'd go with a new slant

I remember coming across an old podcast "dedicated to bringing you the latest on X each week". It had one episode :D
 
I tried once but never had anything I felt was interesting enough to say.

Give it a go and if you don't succeed, you can at least say you tried it.

If I were you I'd also try and keep your Wordpress update to date as it gets compromised very easily.

Good luck. I find the hardest part is the motivation if not many people are reading it. Perhaps you won't have that problem though? It does depend if you're writing it for your own sake or for other's reading pleasure I guess :)

On a side note, it turns out you're from the same town as me. Might have to visit one of your comedy nights - when's the next one?
