2011 car plans....

Plan on keeping it for a few years yet, till im 30 probably, dam im old.

Main thing is i want to do a few track days, me mate is hopefully putting a R1 engine in a mini, so that would be fun to take on track and see it anilate my DC5 lol.

Just got some DIY planned in the summer, want to refurb the front brembo calipers and might have a go at polishing and cleaning up the headlights. Also want to adjust the hangers on the exhuast as the mid pipe does hang low on these cars and can scrape so im thinking if i take 20mm off the hanger lengths, no chance of hitting bumps then. Ill have to see, need to get under it first and measure up etc.

I want a New Disco 4 TDV6, or a RR Sport TDV8.

See how business is towards Q3, might dictate whether I get one.

I thought you had a TT TDI on order for delivery soonish?

I ordered it 12 months ago, with an estimated delivery of 16 weeks which turned into 20 weeks which turned into 28 weeks which turned into the price has gone up, turned into getting my deposit back in September.

And I've taken on another site which I aim to open for the middle of January, which means I've been using a Disco 2 TD5 that I have in stock for lugging stuff around and it's been great.

So the financial strains of new site and 30 more cars means a bit of self indulgence has been put on hold.

Do 200mph in something, preferably something I've built or worked on (although obviously if I do it myself it could take longer). Take it racing as well.

Get some more professional training too, work on making myself a better driver :)

That's about it :)

You know it was meant to be - that TT TDI was a daft idea and your money is far better spent developing what sounds like its becoming an increasingly more succesful business :)

Keep the Corolla until after the summer if all goes to plan then i'll get a £1500 poo box whilst I get into a flat and get myself sorted and then see about getting something more interesting once i'm settled

I currently use my parents' P-reg Nissan Primera, and although it's done 124,000 miles, it seems as good as it was when I first used it three years ago. If it costs more than £600 - 800 in repair bills this year, it will probably be scrapped and I will look for another car. I'm really keen to get a diesel DSG VW Golf as my parents have had nothing but a great experience with their diesel DSG VW Passat Estate. I had a quick look and the rough cost for the Golf seems to be about £12K. Is that a crazy amount to spend on a Golf? I'd probably have to take out a four year loan for that.

Keep complaining about the ridiculous price of petrol and putting plenty of it in my Clio, keep it clean, fit the cup spoiler that's sprayed and sitting in my bedroom, i would like to change the alloys as well either by getting them refurbed or some different ones.

It will also need rear disks and pads at some point, and i want to change the spark plugs, will be taking it to the nuerburgring probbably.

Plan is to get the VX220 over the 200bhp mark for sure this year.

Running Comp Stage 1 cams, increased compression, lightened fly, Ported head, balancer delete, Piper backbox and pre-cat removal currently.

Think its going to take throttle bodies and exhaust manifold with a remap to get it to the magic 200bhp mark :)

Also looking to get Nitron Street Series dampers, and better ARBs

Sell focus
Replace with Z4M coupe, Cayman S or exige S

Should have finance ready by March/April, but need to do quite a bit of test driving. Think the exige S would be great fun, but a bit too focussed. I only do about 3k miles a year and live next to my workplace, so I need to see what level of comfort I can accept.

cant quite decide yet, skoda is definatley going and going to replace it with *something*
thinking either a 2005 ish freelander or a newish corsa/fiesta.... final decision will have to be done by end of january haha
either that or something cheapo like a vectra

Get rid of the Civic

Get rid of the Rover

Get my 1 years NCB and be driving for over a year

Get a car I actually enjoy driving and want to spend money on.

OR

Get a cheap to run car that does better fuel consumption than my current.
