Would or would it not be a good idea to have a Food section withing the Life section of the forum.

I for one would be keen to see this

There's not enough food threads in general to warrant a new section tbh. GD is fine for such topics :)

I'd like there to be a food and drink section, but unfortunately wont ever happen.

But the completely pointless new members one did?

that's just full of the same three people copy pasting the same reply in every thread?

Meh Thought the OP was admitting to his addiction to the forum in that OcUk > Food and life. Was hoping for more luls and less cake lickin.

The greeting posts although repetitive to us, are new to the new members, which is the point is it not?

It's not pointless because it gives new members a chance to introduce themselves.

Saying hello to someone new isn't repetitive to a new member who receives a warm welcome. Some get advice and have conversations. Maybe you should come along and say a friendly hello but just like in test your post count won't go up.

If they've ever signed up to any forum before yeah it's still repetitive.

Also you can count o none hand the number fo those thread where the op ever replies again as there very little you can say to.

"generic welcome picture" or "hello" or "Welcome aboard. "

None of you actually read their op's and say anything even vaguely related to them you just copy paste the same replies every time.

Hell ocuk could set up an auto reply bot and it would be just the same.

Although I agree that this forum should be made - It's been asked before and rubbished before :p

When people say we have too many forums already -- Surely we can get rid of the Intro forums? Seriously, people may as well just post "+1" in every one of their posts :p It just makes it easier for people to boost their post count for the Members Market.
