Has anyone had a problem with their phones restarting? Mine has been doing it occasionally for the last week or so, and over the last day it is now doing it repeatedly - about 10 seconds in to a call it decides to reboot, or sometimes it doesn't even finish loading. Really annoying, I've sent the support a query about it.

Haven't had that with mine at all. On 204 hours uptime (45 hours awake) at the moment, running as smooth as on first boot!
Got my first random restart this evening while using the twitter app. The phone froze briefly before displaying the quietly brilliant screen and restarting. I think it was HTC Sense that restarted (rather then a full reboot), because the uptime/awake stats didn't reset.

Not one unintentional reboot from mine in the two months I've had it.
The only thing I don't like about it so far is the creakiness of the battery panel and the gaps around it.
Regarding Sense 2.0 being bloatware, they don't really affect the phone adversely imo. You simply don't use apps you don't need and you don't notice them.

Do you mean the SIM/MicroSD card panel? If so, same here unfortunately. I think I've weakened it too by taking it off so much.

So close, yet so far! Finally got the phone to be recognised, works with HTC Sync and everything, but I still can't load ddms.bat from the SDK (error message below upon opening ddms.bat). Anyone any ideas?

Got it to work. Absolutely crazy.
Based on it not being able to run abd.exe (which was working fine through the cmd prompt and located in platform-tools) I moved 'ddms.bat' to platform-tools. It then couldn't find 'lib/find_java.bat', so I moved the whole libs folder over to 'platform-tools'. And viola, works.
So if you're getting the same error as me, moved ddms.bat and the lib folder to platform-tools and then run it.

Had a random restart the other day, phone wasn't being used - twas just sitting on my desk idle when I heard the booting sound!
And I too am getting the annoying email notifications being stuck until I "clear" the notifications bar issue now too post latest update.

Yes the one on the bottom. I haven't taken any panels off since the first day of ownership so I couldn't remember what went where.

Partially off topic, but here are Planescape Torment and Baldur's Gate running on the Desire HD. It uses a prog called GemRB, which is available on the market. Currently trying to get Planescape working on my DHD.

. Wow. I remember owning that game and it coming on about 7 CDs in a massive box case.
While these games are cool, I just don't think the realtime aspects work without a mouse. Are there any turn-based games about? The likes of Final Fantasy and Pokemon would work so much better with the realtime element eliminated.
