Replacement for the unlucky XK8.

So in a bid to cheer myself up i got this to replace my unlucky Jag.

Its a 2001 car, 28k miles from new, 1 owner, the car is apparently as new. It needs a new X badge on the boot, thats it. Other than that perfect. I hope its that good when it arrives, iv had cars from him before and i trust him though so all should be well.

Really like the XK8, it's shape is almost as timeless as the XJ.

Roof down I think that looks brilliant, one of the best looking convertibles. Nice number plate to go with it as well.

I've got a very distant memory of someone posting a load of XK8 grills and asking 'which one shall I buy?'.

Have you owned one of these before?

They have such a great look to them, beautiful shape.

Looked at an XKR last year, fantastic bit of kit and the price of early ones is very tempting, but i don't love it enough to justify the running costs.

Yea that was me, i had an 03 blue one up till the other day when it got driven into outside the hospital for the second time on the same front wing, ****ing car was cursed.
