I'm sick and tired of the over priced, poor quality crap sold in most high street clothing stores (River Island, Next, Burton, Zara, Top Man, TK Maxx, H&M).

Where do you buy your clothes?

I know what you mean, things start looking the same don't they? Even for somebody like myself with pretty basic simple tastes..

have you tried online shops just for larger catalogues? For example M&M.

ASOS.com
various wacky label's websites, such as Threadless
M&M Direct
Selfridges - Superdry, Diesel, basically everything is in there!
Cult
GAP
H&M
New Look
French Connection
and TK Maxx (I love TK Maxx)

i walked into a river island over christmas and hadn't changed since the last time i went in there, horrible stuff with squiggles all over it

i buy plain stuff from m&s or if i fancy a t-shirt that's a bit 'wacky' i will check out play.com or i have a lot from bedrock records too
the US seems to have much better variation and fittings imo

TK Maxx
H&M
M&M
Debenhams (mainly for coats/gloves)

I used to buy loads from Topman, but then they started to phase out sexual dimorphism so I now avoid going in there (although they still do some pretty good shoes).

Never got on with Burton or River Island for some reason, and absolutely hate Next clothes.

How do you know what size to buy from Asos. I am generally medium but sometimes small depending on brand and fit.

There are a f ew things I want but am scared they wont fit. how hard is it to send stuff back?

If you think H&M is over priced I'm not sure what you you will think is reasonable as H&M is dirt cheap.

I'm a big fan of buying a few quality expensive items that are better value in the long term. However Gap can be quite good for fairly decent quality basics.

India :D Same brand, same official store, quarter the price! (no, not cheap fakes. If I bought those, then it would be closer to 5% of the price.)
