Cant seem to get insured on my chav mobile

Corsa needs an arse on the roof.
Instead of the usual one driving? :D

I hate Corsas and that one is no different! (Sorry!)

The OP will be getting stung as he's a part time waiter, and the insurers assume (rightly or wrongly) that he's inclined to have a few after his shift!

Try the admiral group and add your parents as named drivers it brings it down loads.

I suggest adding Mam and not Dad, recently I tried adding both and Dad actually made it go up slightly compared to just Mam.

That's bizarre, I initially just had mum added and then added my dad and it went down by about £15?!

I'm with Ady Flux, still in my first year of driving. passed in March '10. I pay 180 a month for a 1.4 Rover, and I had to pay 500 to start off with too, otherwise it would have been over 200.
They were still the cheapest out of everyone :/

Your Corsa is a pleasant enough car even if its not my taste, clearly you look after it. Problem is, you pay for the privilege of your modified car. You can get lucky sometimes though. My friend who is also my age at 20 has a 2.0 24v v6 and only pays 1100 a year. That's with 1 years NCB and 3 years driving. Even when he had no NCB and 2 years driving when he was 19 he paid 1200 a year.

Try places like Brentacre. They wouldn't insure me at 19 because I had no NCB, but you do so could give it a try.

You could always try Coverbox if you get desperate. If you don't end up doing the milage you originally claim for, you pay less a month. You have to have a mile tracker in your car though but then that could be used by the police if it gets stolen. No idea if it registers and saves your speeds though.

Wow, thats expensive.! Just dont declaire your mods? :p

Im 20 with 1yncb and im only £92 a month on a 53plate corsa sxi pimp'd out to the max y0.!

Im with Admiral, try giving them a call? :)

Im thinking of pimping a car soon :D

Then when i have some more drinks i might pimp another !

I thought Quinn went under?

They went into administration for about a month last year, although kept policies running and then came back with much higher prices. They must have realised offering such low prices wasn't working out, I was on £1580 with them last year and received a renewal this year for £1593 (inc 1year ncb). Needless to say I left them :)
