Don't think thats quite true.

slightly biased as mostly everyone posting on this forum more or less has all consoles and will play anything. But most of my female friends and family members still play Just Dance 2, Wii Fit etc.

I don't think the PS3 will own this year, considering the 3DS is around £200 I think if they market the 3DS the same price as the PSP Go at £230 then it'll do good.

I don’t think they would release a £250 console let along a hand held, I think they will release it about £200 and will pack in a game for added value.

I'm hoping so. Nintendo have a good track record in terms of consistent pricing for consoles of all varieties. It's just unfortunate that the pound is so weak against just about everything right now, including the Yen.
 
What are the gfx going to be like on the 3DS, doesn't bother me if its a 3D screen if the gfx look like they do on the current DS.

It's not going to be just a slight modification, it's a brand new console with brand new hardware. I'll find some gameplay vids in a minute.

Its only a big deal if you actually like the PS exclusives..

I never liked/got on either of those titles prequels, so wont be rushing out to buy the sequels.

Gears of War is much more my taste :) and in all likely the only title other then Bioshock / Fifa / Footie manager which i will buy this year.

Sony really need to sort out something in regards to invites and party chat though I just can't see it happening this generation. I don't see why they don't just let Microsoft use Blu Ray drives and in exchange MS can let Sony use the Party features.
 
Having just watched that 3DS Video I have to say i'm not impressed at all, I've seen better graphics on both the PSP and iphone 4. Go look at Real Racing 2 on iPhone 16 player online racing at only £5.99.

Typical Nintendo releasing the same old game over and over, I'm getting sick of Mario Kart now and yes i do own a Wii and DSi.
 
PS3 has some fantastic looking exclusives coming this year, the 360 software looks a bit thin on the ground but MS seem to announce their games for the new year closer to release than Sony do. I expect plenty more games for both conosles to be announced this year, more than most will buy lol.
