You can still empty paypal account and paypal can still take money as my Bank account is still linked.
I think im right in saying that unless of course i unliked my bank details from the paypal account which im not going to do
Not really clever doing what you said is it and have paypal blacklist me and have debt collectors knocking at my door,which by the way they do this.

No they don't. They send you emails, more emails, letters, more letters, threatening letters, more threatening letters and the occasional phone call.
And they they go away.
(obviously this is the method to use when dealing with a genuine scammer, not some impatient clown who is getting in a hissy because his parcel hasn't arrived yet.)

Yes, you can, you just open the new paypal account with a new debit card/credit card (like when one expires and the number changes on the new card...)

You misunderstand, "(obviously this is the method to use when dealing with a genuine scammer, not some impatient clown who is getting in a hissy because his parcel hasn't arrived yet.)", if this guy is genuine and the package is missing it's not a problem, just load the funds back into the account BUT if he's a scammer ("the parcel arrived and it had a brick in it"), the OP doesn't lose money, paypal do.
The parcel is not missing,its still in RM network.

I had Paypal's dogs ringing me in the morning at 4am over 171 pound.
It was paypal's fault too....
I'd closed my account and a dispute was raised, I couldn't do anything...
They put my none existent Paypal account into -171 pound and after a few months I got phone calls..
I paid up in the end....
I had to sell my 5870... My launch day 5870...

They were ringing constantly.
My GF (At the time) was concerned, and my parents didn't know..
Especially since my "crime" was committed at 17, under the legal age of Paypal.
I'd only been 18 for a few weeks when I got the calls.
Which is why I just sold the 5870 and paid up.. It wasn't worth messing on for.
iirc when you're in a dispute you can't unlink your account anyway. Otherwise i'm sure many other people would have thought of this idea after ripping someone off.
kmufc77, you're editing posts after i've replied to them. In my experience (not stuff that i've read), Paypal have never done more than write letters, send emails and call. Accurate advice from me.

If you sell something through eBay and Paypal you enter into a contract with them to honour their T&C and arbitration process. We all have heard that it's not perfect. If they dion't give the decision we want then it's at least dishonest and possibly fraud if we try to make off with the money.
It's as simple as that. If you take something back to a shop because it broke, and they refuse a refund you don't grab it out of the till and walk away.
