Portal II will be fantastic. I do not usually like FPS games, I can just about barely stand them in FPS with RPG elements format, but Portal was absolutely fantastic.

Also Valve is just a company I feel good about supporting.

Apparently Gabe Newell was just espousing the benefits of Sandy Bridge and seemed to imply that Portal 2 would be able to run on the onboard video that sandy bridge has now.

That's my biggest fear - there seem to be so many new things to have to master. But I have great faith in Valve leading us through it a step at a time.
