Wireless GTX 460 anyone?

Why would you say its a silly idea. Its a really good idea as mentioned in the article to remove a noisy PC into another room or place it in a cupboard so its out of sight.

NO HOTLINKING!

Nice idea.. not sure about all them antennas and having to use another box behind the screen, would like to see it more built into the card and cleaner at the back and also to see monitors built in with some sort of wireless standard, so no need for the box. Something that would for sure intrest me with future cards and screens if it is built into the screens too.

I only thought it was a silly idea, becuase when it comes to gpu's, you want the least amount of latency as possible.

Wireless technology is still not developed enough to be incorporated in to gaming technologies.... in my opinion.

Well untill this technology becomes the norm (if ever) the boxes are neccessary as no monitors have wireless recievers built in?

Take away the large aerials at back and you have yourself a winning card. Honestly i think this is a great idea, my pc sticks out a bit because i dont want to bend my thick dvi cable to much.

AT first when you said wireless i thought "NO POWER CONNECTORS ON A 460?" but this is just a good :)

I'd agree. I would imagine as well that the data flow would have to be quicker than current N network speeds.

Also what happens with the monitors? Do you just have a wireless switch type box that monitors can connect to. (kinda deprives the point of it being wireless then).
Or they'll have to make monitors with built in wireless receivers.

well now we will be able at our graphic cards that lag us in game :) , but it is good concept if it takes of specially can u use it on laptops ? etc
