Well i can proudly say i got my first Helicopter kill with the UAV earlier :D

Was epic, was flying straight as i shot it from the side and the rocket just curled round and up into the bottom of the chopper and blew it up before they could even bail.

Also the Smoke grenades the UAV uses are damn forceful when you hit a chopper mid flight with them. Not done it in a real situation but i hit Squarks tail with them on my team and the chopper almost fell over sideways (before crashing since he was hovering over the ground).

You probably got teamswapped (or they did) mid life. Its really irritating when your killing the enemies, then suddenly your own team blasts you in the back... Its also really irritating when it swaps you when you're doing well. Tefal, Rifle, Squark and me were slaughtering the other team on Cold War, then on the last 2 points as we armed 1 point and killed a load of there team so the crap players on our team could push up then suddenly our entire squad got teamswapped.
 
Guys, is there any way to get the russian army to speak english? I feel at a disadvantage compared to being on the american army.

Also, how do i release flares on the chopper?
 
yeah my documents > bfbc2 > game settings > change

OriginalVOForEnemyTeam=1

to


OriginalVOForEnemyTeam=0

and exit >save.

Isn't there a setting in the ingame options?

And V-Smoke + right click (so long as you're the driver/pilot) is smoke/flares. UAV gets 3 or 4 smoke grenades in the area you target. Don't think they can kill infantry but they hit with some serious force on a chopper if you were close enough.
 
Us all getting team swapped in the last stage of Rush didn't help, we'd armed one Mcom and were heading towards the last one when we all get team swapped onto the defending side :(
 
I'm totally going to annoy people with that!

Generally though UAV get picked out the skies quite quickly on the servers I've been on.
 
WOW!

Was playing on the learning server and this f'ing russian kept on saying CHITER,CHITER,YTER,CHITER. I gained 22 Knife Kills in one round :eek::eek:, what's even more impressive my end score including a 10000 elite knowledge badge was

22341 Points! , and a load of dogtags and knife badges to go with it :p
 
Basically the noob server means you can learn new things in the game, the people that are kicked have HIGH K/D ratios. I'm not one of them, i didn't even know how to control the UAV or grenade people lol Thus i'm still learning.

Only had the game since christmas anyway, thing is though i find the servers to be the most fun and i'm not always on top. But everyone generally gets on, just not russians or french :D
