Couldn't find anything on pistonheads/here so not sure if this is old news but it was only posted today on TG website!

Complete lack of any info other than pics..

Looks... ghastly! Ok maybe not quite ghastly but it just looks like a cheap Hyundai... interior is pretty poor too.. it looks like it might be a bit smaller than the current focus (not that you can really tell...) which is a positive for me.

Don't think it's ghastly, just really bland like a lot of cars on the road. Think a bit's harsh to always compare to Korean cars too, they make decent looking cars these days, the Kia Ceed for example is quite a handsome looking car, much more so then this.

Still think the Mk1 Focus looks the bomb, the mk2 and now the mk3 have been really bland, but then they were meant to be 'evolutionary' in design than 'revolutionary'.

Looks fine to me, interior looks good, its like a higher quality version of the old one which is what a new model should be, okay it doesn't have the sportyish/aggressive styling of the current one but the ST version does.

As far as the looks go it seems to be aimed more at the people who actually buy them new whereas the old one seemed to be styled more towards the people who buy them second hand for £1500 and add a K&N filter and and some halfords alloys and think they have an RS (a lot fo them round these parts).

It's conservative. Why change the recipe when it's sold in such massive numbers? In the UK anyway. It will be a massive seller, guaranteed.

I quite like it anyway, not 100% on the back but the front, and especially the interior look nice. Can't wait for the ST!

That one in OP looks a darn sight better than this though, looks like the same rear end but they've got rid of the fake AM esque front.

That's the electric one. Note the charging point under the door mirror.
