PC gamer Top 100 PC games Of All Time.

For me Quake, Doom, Hexen and Rise of the Triad should be in Top10, to me the list has been compiled by someone who is 12 years old.

Doom and Quake et al revolutionised PC gaming. As did Counter-strike, HL1 and BF 1942
 
Just thinking why isn't Total Annhilation in the top 30 ?
They can't seriously be suggesting supcom2 is a better game than Total Annihilation was at the time.

exactly my thoughts, its annoying how high supcom2 is

Total annihilation/supcom. One should be in the top 10 as a milestone in RTS history.
 
No Call of Duty games in the top 60 seems a little strange to me, yet they've managed to find a place for MOH:AA (which is essentially an inferior version of the same thing). Unless I've missed something, there doesn't appear to be any driving games in there either.
Still, when you are talking all-time lists you are never going to please everyone.

Agreed, I'd have put the original CoD with UO on there :D It was all downhill from there lol
 
Would be interesting if the year of release was next to the games to get a feel for when the 'golden age' of PC gaming was. I've noticed quite a few games from 1999-2000 e.g:

Deus Ex
Diablo 2
Counterstrike
Planescape Torment
Tribes
UT
Freespace 2
System Shock 2
Age of Empires 2
 
Minecraft beats Counterstrike? Possibly one of the best known PC FPS ever?

I think that must surely teach all of these big companies who spend millions of pounds on making games a lesson.
