QVC are selling large tubes of salt for £14 and trying to pass it off as some kind of miracle ice disolver.

It's salt.

Just a tube of salt.

SALT.

:(

How is this pap even on TV? We shouldn't allow this kind of crap. We're actually willingly allowing our vulnerable citizens (such as the elderly and mentally disabled) to be ripped off. I'm officially ashamed.

Not to mention that it's simply horrible TV. Can't we just band together and ban this shart from being broadcast from our 4(/5) channels?

Like trying to sell ice to eskimo's.

Except that's a terrible analogy because some stupid ***** will buy that salt.

No swearing please.

I used to love to watch QVC when i went to bed because it always always made me sleepy the amount of garbage they talk.

I remember when I first got OnDigital, I sat and watched one of the shopping channels for about seven hours straight and saw the same things repeated about three times.

Shopping channels only seem to show those weirdly bad shows that you have to keep watching purely because they're so cringeworthy.

then they say "phone lines are very busy and stock is down to 20% so ring now to save disappointment"

makes me laugh every time they say that.

Haha, I feel the same - when someone I know started watching QVC a few years ago - he phoned me up and said it was amazing and told me about all these great deals he was getting.

I didn't want to break his heart and tell him it was a load of old rubbish, but he soon learn't after a few orders.

It's even more annoying when you see them selling PC's and they say it's state of the art and able to play all the latest games then you see it has some crappy low end graphics card.

We had price drop tv on this morning and they were selling a necklace for £125 then 'amazingly' they dropped it to £20. Does anyone actually buy this ****?

If I could fart into a jar and sell it for £1,000 a time, then I would.

If the person purchasing the item is over 18 the nthey are an adult and are old enough to make their own thick, retarded decisions.

It is no more crazy than selling a T Shirt that should be £8 for £80. If people will pay it, then there is a market to be exploited. If you don't do it, someone else will.
