vodka 'eye balling'

Ill have a double vodka and colon....
I did it at a music festival some time ago, did about 12 of them. I couldn't see out of my eye for about an hour. As to why I did it? I was drunk, stupid and thought it would be funny for my friends. They enjoyed it.
Also done a tequlia suicide, for pretty much the same reasons. It's just harmless fun really, stings a bit but it got kind of addicting - or at least the attention did, and I was getting pestered to do more and more.
Would I do it again? Yes. Though I question how drunk you actually get from it as you do lose some of the vodka.

If there's one thing I don't want to **** around with - that's my eyes. Sure I took a calculated risk having laser eye surgery, but I don't think it's in the same league.

Eyeballing vodka is lame. If you want a quick hit, do it the old school way and snort it off a teaspoon.
There is no point, it's the sort of "lolz" thing for immature people.

Just one of these things I guess. I wouldn't choose to do it, but if someone said "Go on Ahleckz, try and take vodka through your eye. I'll buy you a shot you can drink if you do it" then I will. But, there are few things I wouldn't do for free booze...
It has no bad effects really and if people find it funny and it livens up their night then I don't really mind. I wouldn't sit at home, on a Monday evening and pour vodka into my eye though.
I havent but I have seen someone else do it. It just looked like it really stung.
In college one of my mates put one of those cool mint listerine strips on his eye. He screamed and thought he was going blind. He was fine an hour later after lots of water, dont think he'll do it again!

Why are 'Medical Threads' not allowed and are shut down quickly by the Moderators as there is a chance that bad advice could lead to Legal implications but Threads on Alcohol abuse are not? It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye...
