vodka 'eye balling'

I've seen it attempted with Tequila, even the lemon went in the eye at the end... now that had to hurt!

Scarred: Melissa Fontaine who regularly 'eyeballed vodka' at university now has a permanently weeping and sore eye

Shock horror as stupid person who does stupid thing faces consequences. No sympathy from me i'm afraid. This is the kind of thing the NHS should charge to put right.

Although the comment about putting vodka up your bum and doing a handstand made me lol.

I know a guy who used to take A LOT of drugs rectally. Can't say that I'd ever consider putting anything up something that's clearly intended to only have something come out of it but each to his own I suppose.

you only get one pair of eyes, i'd advise you look after them.

bbc 3 9pm there is a show about drink, with a bit on this thread topic tonight i think

Yeah, you're probably right but where do you draw the line? Like I said, don't do it regularly - think I've only done in on two occasions and not planning on doing it again. I would never do the tequlia thing again as that was just bloody painful.
Likewsie the nicorette incident, I'm not going to ever do again. That WAS stupid.

Just one of these things, seems like a good idea at the time. Not harming anyone but myself and not going beyond the realms of what I think is safe...

But I agree, it is stupid and I wouldn't suggest doing it.

Why are 'Medical Threads' not allowed and are shut down quickly by the Moderators as there is a chance that bad advice could lead to Legal implications but Threads on Alcohol abuse are not? It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye...

Because this is information freely available on the news - we're not encouraging drinking or stupid drinking practices.

Giving a person medical advice is not on the same league as letting people discuss a news story about alcohol abuse.

I just file this under "stupidity". It's like people who don't watch where they're going and then complain when they fall over.

I mean come on - it's pretty obvious the human eye is fragile. So why are people putting drugs and alcohol directly into it?

As harsh as it sounds, some people don't deserve the gift of sight, yet there are so many out there that do despite never having the luxury.

Christ this is only hitting the news now??? This, along with tequila stuntmen and snorting whisky, have been around for years, they were certainly going on when I was at uni...

Incidentally, yes, it does sting.

Back in my stupid teen days, the way to do it was to snort vodka off a tea spoon!

edit...already been stated above!

I've a friend (well someone I know) who thinks he can drink through his eyeball, but usually things like smirnoff ice :(

A few years ago my mates were doing this in one of our regular haunts. The barmaid nearest to us was quite fit, and in my drunken wisdom, I thought I'd impress her by upping the ante and eyeballing some of my pint. Cue me getting completely soaked as the Stella ended up all over me. :( I avoided the place for about 2 years out of embarassment...

Seen a mate do a Tequila Suicide.

Snort the salt, do the shot in one eye, squeeze the lemon in the other.

He was a mess.

LOL, another victim of the "Stuntman".

1. Pick drunk buffoon.
2. Chalk out two lines of salt for you and said buffoon.
3. "Snort" together, except you blow, buffoon snorts.
4. Lemon time, again together but you close your eye, buffoon doesn't.
5. Tequila, optional drink but you might as well if he's paid for it.

Job done.
