Your Gaming Surface?

I use a razer control cloth mat.....with the razer exactmat underneath to extend to side out keyboard draw :( Its hard to play on so going to iseries was good to finally have some desk space! :D

I just use the desk now but I did have an Icemat back in my Quake 3 days.

I assume they went bust? Can't seem to find mention of them online.

Whats the tracking like with that Boogie Bug, My SX Steelseries is perfect with my G500, so am reluctant to get rig of it...

Last time i had a cloth mat the mouse skipped a bit... (that was with a G5 IIRC)

I'll tell you tomorrow. Just ordered over one over the phone.

Worst comes to worst - if the Puretrak Talent is better mouse tracking then I'll just put that ontop of the boogie bug:D

These two together (£24 incl delivery) cost less than my exactmat did rofl

I bought the Boogiebug from OcUK many moons ago for just over a tenner and while it was great I found mouse tracking to be accurate but there was too much friction between the mouse feet and the surface of the mat, because it's fabric it's never going to be as smooth as a Teflon/hard surface such as the Razer Destructor gaming surface I replaced it with.

Tempted to buy another though because it did serve as an excellent palm rest as the desk can get cold/hard at times while typing. Oh and it stops you from putting marks on the desk and having to wipe them afterwards. Can just put The Destructer on top as well for mousing on.

My thoughts exactly - even if it is not that good of a surface, then as a desk mat BOOM ! Perfect !

Bought a SS Qck Heavy from a mate recently. Would recommend - very big and very thick!

Mouse glides better on this than my old Everglide titan gaming.

On my third Everglide Titan Monster Mat. Pity as they are increasingly hard to get hold of. I go through a lot so when the Boogie Bug deal came out in December I had to bag one for when I need my next mat. Usually a big beer spillage, or occasionally, Sambuca ruin mine. :o

My mouse is a Steelseries XAI.

Everglide sell some good stuff Valkia, might be worth having a look. ;)

This is exactly why I like this Corepad, I can't speak for the Boogiebug, but I've always had cloth mats so it works doubly as good for me.

Roccat Corepad ? I have just been looking into these. If you can recommend these I will stock a few :) See how they go

Don't forget the Puretrak Talent - I'll give you a mini review when I get it 21-27th but if I prefer it to the boogie then I reckon you should stock a few if poss. They're cheap and amazing from the review I've read as I said earlier - proof is in the pudding though....

No idea what that is, I was talking about my Mousemat (picture on the first page).

While we're talking mouse stuff - what I'd really like is some fitted replacement mouse feet for my MX-518 :D

I will also look into Puretrak Talent Mouse pad. Make sure you do the review in this thread :)
