Hey

Watched the old gore special the other day and remembered how much I used to love this show as a kid. Also watch the famous dave perry moment on the mario 64 slide! pity it'll never come back as theres never really been anything else like it.

Anybody else have some fun gamesmaster moments?

mortal kombat and street fighter battles were bloody awesome.

Bad Influence was crap compared to Gamesmaster, in fact it was crap compared to a lot of kids TV shows at the time.

Yeah, it was a bit pants, but watching that brought home memories of rushing home from school to catch all the kid's programmes... Cities of Gold, Ulysses, Dogtanian and the 3 Muskehounds etc etc... *sigh*

Ooooo Tim Boon!

Yes I love Gamesmaster, I've got every episode somewhere will have to dig them out and watch again.

Can't remember any specific moments that I like off the top of my head but the whole show just rocked, very fond memories. And yes I agree Dexter Fletcher wasn't as good as Dominic Diamond.

Oh wow. Definitely need to watch this when I'm back home! Haha - great nostalgia. Me and my brother used to watch the show a ton!

As i remember it gamesmaster was about watching mostly little kids playing games against each other and more little kids asking The Gamesmaster for gaming tips/cheats. Bad influence however was more about the latest technology and reviews, which makes Bad influence the winner in my book.

Interestingly one of the presenters of Bad Influence (Violet Berlin) went on to make her own show (Gamepad on Bravo) which was a better show than either of those two.

Oh yes. Those cartoons were top stuff.

Gamesmaster was pretty bland on most episodes. Can't remember if it was this show or another where you can record the end credits and play it back slow mo for more stuff.

it was all about the one with geoff crammond gp review on the amiga....."its like you are really there" to quote i think Tim Boon lol

friend downloaded all of the old shows ages back in bad tv copied vhs quality.......lots of old gaming memories! e.g. Pat Sharpe playing a megadrive lol

This was crap, but i enjoyed it :p

Bouff !

Bits was amazing. I wish they would bring this back with the original cast including the blonde bird who had a brief time on the show. I used to watch it at night then the cut down, child friendly version on Big Breakfast (remember that) before heading off to school.

:( those were the days when I didn't know what stress was ....
