Your Gaming Surface?

Same here... Didn't really see the point.

Is it worth it?

I said before that I didn't use a mouse mat for many years about 4 - 5. Never thought I needed to at all, until I went playing cod4 at lans in competitions on some horribly grainy wood and broken pieces, a mat came in handy. Since then I have realised it is better because of the consistency of the surface. A desk might be ok for your day to day jobs but in games, it's serious business, remember the Quake 3 days when rail gun had to be bang on. Welcome to the Quake Live days where not a lot has changed ;)

Boogie bug ordered, finally ill have room to let my g500 loose, current pad is a bit on the small side.

I cant decide, the BB is too big but still very tempting! Would it be a crime if i cut it down a little?!??!

HeatoN's look great, its the perfect size and i love my hard SS SX.....

Hmmm....

I see no reason why you couldn't cut it down. But the comparison is the heatoN is hard top with the hybratek coating. My xai glides over nicely, I have not actaully tried the Boogie Bug but im sure plenty of these people have for opinions :D

Wait until I get mine tomorrow LOL, I will post a pic as I would very much like to win a prize having never won a forum prize yet :(

I think I can hear my eXactMat quaking in its boots, I plan to place an order on the weekend for some other bits... one of these Boogie Bug's may accidentaly fall into the basket too ;)

Make sure you post a picture of your boogie bug with your setup! I may have a prize for the best one :D

Don't draw the winner yet - give me chance to get mine delivered!! lol

Also don't mark me down for my **** keyboard LOL

It's one of these unfortunately :(

Will be getting a G15 next month though so you can have those on special offer then if you like ;) or at least put them back down to £55 like they were when I was going to get one before xmas... not got a chance in hell of getting one at £80!!

thinking i might be tempted into buying a mouse mat any suggestions for the MX518

and i dont want to pay £25 for a mouse mat.

Well..... I ordered a BB last night. Valkia, i blame you and your price cut. :p

It may well be too big, but for hte price i cant not get one.

Will probs be ordering the HeatoN too. :D

When that boogie bug came up for £11.99, it was a no brainer, mine should arrive today, currently using a SteelSeries QTK mini just for the mouse but with the new keyboard it slides all over the table so got one of these.
