The RAVEN RV02-E is an evolution of the original RV02 case that aims to provide even more accessible performance and utility. Making a debut for the first time in a tower chassis, SilverStone’s own “Air Penetrator” 180mm fans are included in the RV02-E for improved air intake efficiency and flexibility. The fan frame of the Air Penetrator fans provide enough fan blade protection and increased air focusing ability that they no longer require installation of fan grille. Hot-swappable hard drive cage was also implemented to facilitate installation at the expense of losing the 8th expansion slot. However, all other features are intact such as fully filtered intake system, 90 degree motherboard mounting, liquid cooling support, and fan speed switches. For enthusiasts not looking to use more than two or three graphics cards, the RV02-E should be a great alternative to the fantastic original RV02.

Seems like all they did was take the hard drive assembly and new fans from the ft02 and bung them into the raven with a new paintjob. :confused:

Which is why it's called the RV02W-EW, not the RV03. :)

E for evolution (new AP181 Air Penetrator fans, FT02 style hot-swap HDD bays etc).

More than I'd spend on a case, but it really is a nice looking thing. Adding a blue cathode even looks great, I normally ain't into 'lights' in cases. Shame the fans ain't white, then again the dust really would look nasty then.
 
Looks very pretty, and a nice price too. If I were looking to upsize to ATX, this case would be on my list.

Anyhow with all these new arrivals, what news on the FT03?
 
Not for me, but I can see the attraction for some.

Do they provide nice white bezels as well? Would be a shame to have to put a black, silver or beige faceplate on.
 
Bah i got excited and thought it would be the FT-03! Any word on those yet? Seen them retailing in the states for $159.95 which is cheaper than i was expecting...
 
Looks nice but just to note, The EW version has one less pci slot over the RV02 which stoped me buying the black EW version because it means you cant install a graphics card in the 3rd pci-e slot on your mobo sence it needs pci slot 7 and 8. Or am i wrong?
