The card not only looks bigger but the more substantial cooler indicates the GTX560 consumes much more power than the GTX460 too.

Hex is right, a couple of brands have already seen leaked info their pre-overclocked launch cards go public.

It seems as though 560's will launch with a range of non-reference options and it wouldnt surprise me if 1000Mhz+ overclocks became common considering the ability of the MSI 460 GTX Hawk to reach that landmark

It looks like the GTX570 maybe in trouble if the GTX560 is faster than a HD6950.

I didn't say stock speed was 1000

And it seems logical that they'll be preclocked, 3rd party cooled cards, just like there was at the 460 launch with the 800MHz clocked variants.

Looking forward to pre-clocked 560's at launch, was saving for a 570 but if Gigabyte release a pre-clocked 560 at launch then i'm snapping one up.

Could this be amd's counter to the 560 ti. i knew about 6950 1gb cards but if this is true amd may be bringing a 6970 1gb thats cheaper than a lot of 6950 2gb cards.

looking forward to this card . got a 460 off ebay for 80 notes a few months ago and love that card . was going to buy a 480 but for that price i had to have it . thought i would save some pennys and see what come up . this card sounds just about rite

Gigabyte have a 1 Ghz factory overclocked GTX 560 planned:

And people are reporting that they are reaching 1065 Mhz at just 1150 mv, while the GTX 460 can only manage 925 Mhz at that much voltage.
