Keep getting flickering textures on the Heavy Metal map with my 6870 crossfire setup. Have turned bloom off and it seems to have helped a little, but still get them but not as bad.

After playing this game for around 3 hours last night and playing the first hour like I played COD. I can safely say that I enjoy this game much better.
With COD you are basically in it for yourself. And hope you have a couple good people on your team to get the win.
BC2 is all about team work & I love it. Just 4 guys in a squad helping each other out to get to and destroy/capture the objective.

So if it is options now, what's the point in the config edit other than turrets?

When isn't there something wrong with the stats... its becoming a farce that EA/DICE still haven't fixed it. Its been over a month now and it doesn't seem to have improved at all.
Seems statsverse has got its 'compare' function up and running again.

Anyone is free from here to use it, it's where we all hang out when playing BC2, so if you join the BC2 channel - introduce yourself and we'll try and get on the same server somewhere. It's a 50 user server so plenty of room.

Just some little rules - I think it's fair to say we are a tolerant bunch of admins and don't kick/ban just because we can. We've not had to so far as everyone from here are decent people who just want to play the games but we don't want anyone whos going to spoil it for anyone else..
1. no mic spamming/music
2. no excessive swearing or personal insults - we like to have fun but there are limits
3. respect the other users (e.g. if a user requests no blaspheming, please make an effort to co-operate - Tefal we're all looking at you!)
Above all, we're all in there to have fun and get along. There are some lol's to be had, come join us.

And if you are easily shocked, stay out of a channel with Rifleman
