Whats the best gaming laptop i could get for $1600

This is a uk forum. Hmm as far as my USA purchasing knowledge goes i've always read on forums that newegg are good. Although maybe ocuk will do overseas orders, not sure if ud get slammed for import duty like crazy tho. I bought a pair of shoes from USA and they charged me almost the same again in import duty so i dread to think what what $1600 duty would be. Id message the main site a or ring the number and ask if they can help.

dont forget to take off the 0 and add 0044 before dialling tho.

You could build a pretty decent gaming desktop for $1600. Any reason why it has to be a laptop?

I need to take it to school for class and things like that. I have thought about building a desktop but I really need to have access to it at school so i kinda really need a laptop

For that budget, I'd be tempted to buy a cheap laptop ($300 or so), and build yourself an awesome gaming desktop with the other $1300- that is, unless you need to game at school.

In that case maybe having a laptop is the best way to go and for $1600, you should be able to pick up a pretty gaming one.

What types of games will you be playing mostly and will you be looking to run the games at max seting?
