I agree and i think you should write a letter to Microsoft and ask them to relinquish exclusive rights to ME1, so ps3 fans can be happy.

I still don't understand why the first one cannot be ported across. From what I read on the news sites at the time, BioWare owned the IP to Mass Effect 1 and it stayed with them when EA bought them. This is why the PC version is published by EA not Microsoft Games Studios.
Now the news sites are all saying Microsoft own the IP to ME1. It doesn't make sense because if they owned the IP to the first game, Microsoft could block any mention of characters, places, etc. of ME1 from ME2.

I do agree - 15 hours or more of the first ME would have been preferred but the first installment was on the 360 first, who knows why bioware didn't or couldn't transfer over to the PS3, but the main thing is that the Ps3 gets ME2 and ME3 and leaves the 360 with yet one less exclusive and that's a good thing if you ask me..
The comic was enough to fill the gap but I thought the comic was a bit naff in places when compared to playing the first but there you go..
As said, least Ps3 owners get to enjoy this epic game....
I'm guessing here, but I imagine they paid for exclusive rights to the console version of ME1, which was indefinate or for a long period of time.

Hold on I don't even have a PS3. What do I care...
I'm currently doing the Overlord mission and have just stepped into the grav tank for the first time. I couldn't help but notice how horrible the ground textures look in the forest type area, also, this whole driving section I really dislike. I was also greeted with a random crash too. 
At the reported £47.99 and a huge download do yourself a favour and nip into town with your car and buy it from a store, or better yet - order online and wait a few days and save ££££s

Just completed my first play through of the game and got 84% of the trophies in 1 go, only screwed up 2 
Fantastic game but a bit buggy, had it crash a few times on me. One crash was when I shot a mech in the face. Just starting the Insanity play now, god this is going to be hard.

Regardless of who owns the rights to the game, I doubt there'd be any financial benefit for them if they ported across Mass Effect. They've released ME2 at full price, so they wouldn't really be able to charge a higher price if they'd included ME as well.

. Missed the relationship trophy because I took too long recruiting and also failed the 6 data packets trophy. I didn't know what I was looking for until I had missed the only point to collect the first one leaving me on 5/6 with no previous save point.Just need to get those 2 on this run, get to level 30 (3 levels away) and beat thee game on Insanity for the platinum

I really don't like the comic. Mate showed it me and the "looking back on things" style of Shepard felt really off to me, seems weird...cracking game though, I'm almost done with my insanity playthrough on 360.
Someone said they are bringing the comic to 360 and PC but I'm still gonna have to play through the first properly for repeated plays of 2, the comic does miss out on a surprising amount, the small references to your choices from the first game in 2 kinda add to it all I thought

Thats pretty good going. I'm 10 hours in and I have only just done with recruiting and some side missions etc... but then I'm a tad slower with games, it is a cracking game though.
But, don't know if its me but the graphics are superb, until you get to some areas, and it all looks a bit low res, like background. the faces are superb, but then you look at garrus and his suit looks a bit jaggy. Other then this, its a great game. Keeping me entertained. Taking a quick break before I try anoher mission..
