I've seen a few people using , instead of '. For example:

It,s
I,m

You get the idea...

I have only come across 4 or 5 people that do this, and they have all been online friends or online posts. I have never seen it written.

I did ask someone a while back why they were using , instead of '. They said they had been taught like that.

Where does this come from? Is it taught like this in some cases?

I often use ; instead of ' but that's because they're in the wrong positions on keyboards and should be swapped around. ' is used far more often than ; so it should be on the more accessible key :)

Android phone keyboard typos.

I have an Android phone and my phone(s) have never ever autocorrected such words with a comma instead of an apostrophe.

If they were taught like that then they were likely taught by either an ******* or the world's most successful troll and I tip my hat to them :p

My Dell Streak used to have the apostrophe and the comma on the same key, you just pressed it longer for one or the other.

It doesn't do it on the Swype keyboard though.

So it's the Dell android keyboard, not Android itself then. Smooth!

Either way, Gingerbread's keyboard is the best now especially for rapid fire typing long words and words with punctuation :p
