That's surprising as the raw numbers from the reviews I've read suggest the 460 is only around 20-30% faster than the GTX275.

For me it jumped my min frame rate up a huge amount compared to my 275's. That for me makes all the difference when gaming. I suppose my 460's are overclocked as well so that helps somewhat

NDA is over, at least for MSI http://www.mygarage.ro/la-un-pahar-de-vorba-cu-producatorii/78661-msi-8.html#post946903

Interesting. Not many of the reviews seem to focus on minimum framerates but I have noticed the odd "shudder" in some games such as Hot Pursuit - maybe it'd help alleviate this.

Do you have any links to reviews which detail minimum framerates between the 460 and 275/260?

With the release of the 1GB 6950 and the GTX 560 adding more competition in the Highend Mainstream gpu market this will likely mean prices will come down?

6950 1gb for £199 ROFL.. only a few weeks ago the 2GB was almost the same price. What a joke.

560 does look interesting though.. interesting to see how it fair's in the reviews :-)

Two hours until the explosion.
I've been putting off ordering new parts to see how the 560 fairs- it's running against the 6950 and a second 470 here, it better not be a dissapointment.

Also; I've ditched sandybridge... because it's expensive.
