Vasectomy

I don't want them. Other people can have them, as long as they don't have too many.

That is surprising..

Seems an odd thing to say.

Psychological in that the liquid they are "receiving" doesn't have sperm in it?

Indeed. Anyway, this thread isn't about me or my experiences/beliefs. But that's what I have been told. I have been dissuaded from having a vasectomy myself - and I'm glad I didn't.

My dad who otherwise knows no pain was walking like John Wayne for a week.

It was so bad everytime he'd move he would grimace and it looked that bad I would be like 'ow ow ow' as well for him! lol.

Not a pretty sight to watch.

Sure you'll be fine good luck.

They had a live vasectomy on GMTV a few years ago. The patient was given a small local anaesthetic (not that it did him any good) and then the doctor burnt his balls with what looked like a soldering iron.

I don't want kids but I don't think I'd want the snip either, in case I change my mind.

Going for mine on Monday evening - I'll let you know!

33, three kids, happily married - times right. Should be fun going "bare back" for those sleepy mornings or bath/shower etc :-) Never got much of an innings when trying for kids - conceived within a month for each of them - far to virile :-(

Any girl I've spoken to says it makes a man less attractive because they're not "all there", even the ones who didn't want kids themselves.

Absolutely ridiculous, if there is more than 1% of women with an IQ above 89 with this viewpoint, excluding those who want kids, I'll eat my hat.

Indeed.

I am 32, have three children and me and the Mrs are happy with our lot.

I do not want to father children with another mother as I feel that would be cheating on my children, if that makes sense.

That's fair enough. It's the younger people with no kids who decide to have them I can't understand. :p
