I have a driver recognising fault too, reads as 10.8 for me. Definitely not though as I've been getting some decent increases and I have CCC2.

Just ignore it I reckon, it's be sorted in the hotfix.

Temps are very high for me. Seen as high as 77C on one of my GPU temps. I doubt that to be true though, it wasn't running the fan any harder than 40% or so. Clearly not near the limit.
 
Everyone with driver recognition "problem" should realise by now that the latest driver does not change the Catalyst version.

It's still the latest build available directly from AMD.

When you uninstall any drivers in Win7, the system will automatically switch back to the latest working driver - in my case it was 10.10e.

Nothing to worry about though, you're still having the latest driver installed (not counting in the beta/preview drivers that it are often worked on parallel to the official releases).

He probably meant Morphological AA and the AF optimisations (although I'm pretty sure the latter is present in the recent driver releases).

Which driver to install? It's really up to you, the beta one on Guru should have the latest improvements implemented but is not guaranteed to be stable, the official ones are older but passed the WHQL certificate.

Very good, but a 10C increase at idle isn't so great.

Also, a more efficient process should yield more for the same work, from the same input.

Hi Guys,

I've had a little play with the 11.1's from the AMD Website and I have to say not overly impressed :(

Unigine 2.1 - 63.1 FPS (1589 Score) to 63.4 FPS (1596 Score) (4.0 Ghz / Stock Core / Mem)

3D Mark 2011 - 8394 - 8453 (4.2 Ghz / 1000 Core / 1120 Mem)

The most annoying part is that I still get black flashes on BFBC2 which I was really hoping they would fix.

Thats a game issue rather than a card\driver issue. It happened me when i was on a gtx295 as well. Only way to stop it is to diable bloom in the settings file.
