Hi guys

I currently have this setup:

Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit
Asus P8P67 PRO Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

Im using the Stock coolers and considering getting a new one:

Akasa AK-CCX-4002HP Venom CPU Cooler

Ive noticed that the corsair ram is fairly tall and slightly concerned it might be too tall for the cooler, is anyone using this combo?

Thanks in advance

hello, i had the Akasa AK-CCX-4002HP Venom CPU Cooler, you will be able to fit all that in if you use ram slot 2 and 4.
very good cooler, if you do get round to add another viper fan for push n pull it will drop the temp 2-3'c..

Pretty sure I've read on here a few times that with that combo you're gonna lose the first ram slot so you'll need to use slot's 2 and 4 instead but at least it will work :)

I'm using the same cooler and RAM, and as I've posted elsewhere, installing the fan on the opposite side of the cooler so it is pulling rather than pushing will allow access to all 4 slots.

I performed a quick test; the pull method only resulted in higher temps of 1-2c.
