I'm sure I've seen this posted here before, but I did a few searches and it didn't turn anything up, so...

I'm attempting to do this:

http://hundredpushups.com/index.html

I just took the "Initial Test" and managed a lowly 16, I've never been great in the upper body strength area.

Despite the site recommending you take a few days to recover after the initial test, I'm going to start with week 1 tomorrow evening.

I'm hoping that in posting this, I will stay motivated to complete the entire 6 weeks, and it will possibly inspire a few others to do the same - but we'll see ;)

I started this last year - got to 60+ on the exhaustion test after about a month of training then lost interest. May start it again soon.

I got to the point where i could do 50 in one go without stopping, then a van pulled out in front of me on the zxr and I smashed my wrist, now I can only do 10 tops

I did 44, arms feel really weak and are trembling now.

Played footy today, reckon I can do more if I try again another day.

I would say anything that encourages you to push yourself too hard is a bad idea. 100 is an arbitrary number, what's more important is doing the most you can do.

I used to be able to do ~100 push ups and several hundred sit-ups/crunches, but that was about 10 years ago. I've since discovered sitting around and chilling out with beer, and can muster about 12. :/

Crikey I feel terrible about letting myself go a bit.

I just did 35, thought i'd stop before my head exploded! My last one was a very slow and pain full push :D First time i've done any in a looong time!

From about 15 onwards my shoulder/elbow cracked every time, can't be a great sign =/

Just did 25 :D. Could do more but my feet were slipping back on the laminate floor.

Wow, not done these since I was at school, feels good. Might give this a go.

giving this a go too, can do around 60 good form chest to floor push-ups so straight in at week 3 column 3, did day 1 easy days 2 and 3 look a lot harder.

I think i'll give this ago, i'm wanting to start getting in shape!

This is essentially why I'm doing it..

Started running this year also, as I'd heard it can be good for asmatics. Very short distances, 3-4 times a week - but I can feel myself improving.

Thought I'd give this a try too.

Off to bed now - but I'll post how I get on tomorrow evening with the beginning of Week 1! :D

little warm up first might help, swing your arms around that kind of thing.

Jesus and I thought I was a weakling, managed 25.

Slight problem however, I now can't lift my coffee mug to my face.

Think I'm going to give this a go.
