Really not being personal, but what is it with everyone wanting every game to have multiplayer all the time? I know it's relatively new to consoles, but really? Some games just don't need, or suit it.

So, is this like GTA in the 40s?

The animation really creeps me out. Its so life like. I think its going to give me nightmares when I play it.

It doesn't look anything like GTA from what I've seen so far in those trailers. Looks like you're an investigator or something instead of a criminal so you shouldn't be allowed to beat grannies to death and then steal their car. :p
 
It's going to be more of a detective story and apparently the animation is so good that we should be able to 'read' the reactions of people that we question to help determine their guilt or innocence.

I think my only worry is that they might make it too obvious, still have high hopes though. Recognised several actors from their characters as well (Walter from Fringe and Riley from Buffy!)
 
Main character is that dude from Mad Men (soz if this has been mentioned before). Game looks mint been keeping an eye on it since some Edge issue which seems like aaages ago. Love the vids. Definitely not a GTA clone as far as I can tell. Something different and one I am very interested in.

That video is jaw dropping! :o

The amount of detail in the character faces and the way they move is pretty much indiscernible from real life.
 
I watched the tech trailer a week or two ago, You can understand why its been hiding for the last 4-5 years! After watching it, my excitement for the game sky rocketed.
 
That face capture system looks amazing. Walter from Fringe and Ken from Mad Men - I'm sold!! This could be a real turning point in games.
 
Bankrolled and backed by Rockstar, but it's ultimately Team Bondi. Looking at their history it is a bit of cause for concern, one average game credited to the founder.
 
Yeah I've had my eye on this for a while. I didn't like RDR purely for the setting and if this is similar (which it certainly does look) then I should enjoy it.
 
ugh, those facial animations are freaking me the hell out. They look so damn real!

This looks like it may be my goty for 2011.

I hope Rockstars next game is Grand Theft Auto 5.
 
I got a 5 page preview of Edge mag from mid last year sometime and it looked amazing then. They seem to have lived up to all the talk as well.
