Microsoft Security Advisory: Vulnerability in MHTML could allow information disclosure.

Microsoft has issued a "critical" warning over a newly-discovered flaw in Windows.

In a security advisory, the company warned of a loophole that could be used by malicious hackers to steal private information or hijack computers.

The bug potentially affects every user of the Internet Explorer web browser, (BBC online)
This bug affects all versions of Windows from XP, through Vista to Windows 7 - Microsoft Support

Been on Chrome for ages. Seems like i'm safe. Hurrah!

Though I cant find anything in the actual advisory mentioning IE. Only that it affects most versions of windows.

Only certain browsers support MHTML, eg IE and Opera. So presumably if you're not using them it's not an issue. As if people needed another reason not to use IE.
