Most Jewish youth like Christians are secular /not very religious. That's what separates us from Muslims. We have the freedom to question parts of our religion and better ourselves.
Of course there are many good things that these religions teach but I cannot become a Muslim just because I think homosexuals should be allowed to live.
There is no reason why multiculturalism can't work.
Yes you can. A friend of mine is a Muslim and believes homosexuals should have equal rights. He questions his religion but still classes himself as Muslim. Muslim youth are no different to others. I bet you could find similar views in certain Jewish/Christian sects as well.
Ridicule, the first and last argument of a fool
I don't think so Zip, I'd wager that at least half of kids in Scandinavian high schools can speak pretty good English.
And again, we come to the crux of the matter - it's not Islam which is at fault for the ignorance and prejudice expressed by its followers, but the followers themselves. I'm still amazed that people claim Islam as a religion is evil, any more so than the other major religions ascribed to in the West - for every quote inciting hatred and domination in the Qur'an, there are equivalent passages in the Torah and the Bible because, and here's the real secret folks, they're all the same damn book. Granted, their popularity in different cultures has caused the three to evolve almost beyond recognition since they were first written, each has had its own additions and modifications (some [Bible] more than others [Qur'an]) to the point where they can't be truly said to be the same book any more, but there are so many correlations between the three that it surprises me that people don't see it.
There's more, but I really should get back to work...

Original choice of word would have been used by some body with testicular fortitude.

Touché. Still, I'm pretty sure 'kike' would get me v&. Oops.
Depends on the context.
And in that context it would probably not have been looked on too favourably, given that it is a racist epithet.
