If she wanted an Abarth how did she end up in a 120i Automatic? The Abarth is a quick chuckable tiny hot hatchback, it is very different to an automatic 120i?

Because i managed to convince her to duff the 500 idea and choose something else that was auto.

So her solution were A a Boxster which wasnt happening obviously, then this then a SLK.

Therefore an Abarth wasn't neccesary and a £12k new 500 would have suited? :p

Your right i could have got an auto 500 and put the abarth bits on i suppose :) But then its a corn beef tin, with not much between her and a solid object should she hit one.

the abarth has the bodykit which admittedly does make it look nicer. Plus i imagine it will have a nicer spec ?

Hey its Kimi and you lot are just horrible, i only wanted the fast 500 not the smelly slow one!!!!!

She tends to hit things not roll the car :)

this is very true

When i was 18, my male friends were "borrowing" their mums 4x4s and rolling them spectacularly in a field and destroying them beyond all belief.

The females in the group however had parking dings, usually reversing into things and causing minor bumps and scrapes.

the fiat 500 is 5 * Euro Ncap, she'll be fine.

And for those that say euro ncap stars mean nothing, i present exhibit A

All i can say is wait till you sit here at 40 odd with kids Fox, then you gonna think back and say that poor **** Mark was right :D

The average child costs £250,000 to bring up between the age of 0 and 21.

Assuming 2 kids, thats a brand new 5 Series every 2 years and an exotic holiday each year.

;)

Work harder, take a few risks, cut the odd corner and have the cars and the kids, kids are priceless :)

What and a 120i Automatic is fast? :D

Is this your idea of flirting Fox? Chatting with a girl about the qualities of bmw's? ;)

I've got to say I prefer that to the hatchbacks, does it have rear parking sensors mark? If not can you retro fit them?

I didnt notice that, thats a very good point, how much are they to retro fit? Will the dealer do it?

Aren't they standard on BMW's now (on the rear at least)? If not, most people would spec them. As for retro fitting, the dealer will but it will be cheaper elsewhere.

EDIT: Just seen they aren't standard, and are still a slightly expensive option.

Me daughter said it was beeping, and looking at the bumper it looks like the holes are there.
