Category 5 Cyclone Yasi due to hit Cairns and Townsville

What with the Floods the Cyclone & the Cricket the Aussies are taking a right battering.
My thoughts go out to all those affected.
 
Its huge! Glad I dont live over there.
We got hit by cyclone Bianca last week. She only just skimmed us and that was pretty intense. Cant imagine what it would be like to be hit full on by this one. Lets hope they get through it relatively unscathed.
 
Gotten pretty dark on the audio cam, unless it's night but rain has appeared on the cam now.
 
I was there last year arriving just after the last cyclone had hit, turned up in Townsville with very strong winds still, to say it was eerie walking around is an understatement. Wouldn't like to be there during a Cat 5.
