The 'new' Antec P180/2

When I built my last computer 3 1/2 years ago, I remember the Antec P182 was one of the better cases for the £80 ish mark.

Having not really followed cases for a while, and it being time where I consider upgrading, has PC case design moved on at all since mid 2007? If I needed a new case, what would you suggest? I could always stick with the P182 if theres nothing better, however a change is always fun

The Fractal R3 is pretty much the successor to the P180 I think. Looks quite similar and is around £80.

Though I prefer the bigger Fractal XL personally, which is around £120.

I used to have a P182 and have now switched to the R3, There was also nothing wrong with my P182 but fancied a change, great case and silent too, plus its MUCH smaller

Or go MINI with the Antec Mini P180.

Have had mine for ages now, brilliant case though its MATX...still a great case however.

Yup, I saw that. They did the same thing they did with R2 review; they tested it with stock fans and found it to be poor for cooling. With some decent fans in there it will be fine. They also found GPU cooling to be excellent even if CPU cooling wasn't that great.

Surely thats just a £10 fix, for an apache fan fitted in the last intake slot?
