OP, I did exacly the same. Old XBox got the RROD, got sent a replacement and when that arrived I part exchanged it for a PS3. Not looked back since. :D

Use the Official PS3 forums, they're the best imo.
 
MAG - its not to be missed out on, dont worry that its tough at first, its a proper FPS with no silly dogs or remote control cars around to let any clown and his dog get 800 kills in 1 round.

Too many people give up because they have to actually aim and work to go up a level.

Rather than login to any COD game, get a kill which turns into a killstreak that lets the game do everything for you... bish bash bosh, 2 mins play = Level 70.

Out of intrest how much did you get for a 360 trade these days? cant have been much.

Frankly i'd have kept both and had the best of both worlds, I know you said the 360 release list ddint ring your bell but theres some good stuff on there that you will be missing out on. Unless of course you play MP with your mates on PSN not Live. myself its the other way round and 360 is my go to console for multiplatform stuff but i have the fall back of a ps3 for the exclusives I want to play (some of which are very very good as well)

I got £149 for a 250gb xbox slim.
I can't afford to keep both with a baby on the way otherwise that would have been my option of choice but I wanted to change over and not spend any money which is what I did - with all my games and such I ended up with just over £550 (pricematched cex) trade in value which got me a great start :)
