Morning all,

Has anyone tried the above, if so were the results anything to note?

Im trying to loose some stubburn fat and thought this might speed up the process. Before anyone says its not a miracle cure, this would be used along with my healthy eating and training program.

Thanks

Andy

not had experince with Thermobol, however i have used PHD Lean Degree; several online reviews and awards indicate this to be a far superior product.

Could just drink green tea as a cheap alternative.

.. or eat plenty of dietary fibre - you can get 100 tablets for around £3.

Are there any refined products in your diet, such as white rice, pasta? Swapping these for whole wheat will help..

I'm sure there are much better value for money products out there other than maxi-muscle. If you're insistant on using a supplement a friend at uni used to recommend one by Gaspari beginning with an 'N'.

The only thing you'd be guarenteed to see results with would be an ###(three letters) stack which cannot be discussed here.

Personally if you could just up your caffiene dose slightly.

If you're not already doing it try some HIIT insteady of steady state cardio.

Imo the money you'd spend on supps would be better spent on decent running shoes or on food.

These things seem like a massive waste of money to me, but then I've never used one.

Main ingredients of this seem to be caffeine and orange peel:p I'd probably rather just factor in another HIIT session, than run around all day in an orangey blaze of caffeine fury!

Have cut rice and pasta out, and have brown / whole wheat as my treats :)

Thanks for this, i know what you have starred out ive been trying them, but had a nasty one last week and has put me off them tbh. I looked like i had been taking "hard drugs" - not good at all!!

Im off the tea and coffee at the minute too as a sort of detox, maybe ill re-introduce some espresso.

Running shoes - in the last 2 months ive bought 3 pairs so cant justify spending more on these lol.

Ideally im looking for a supp that is a poor mans stack with little or no side effects :D (dont mind not sleeping, but dont want bloodhot eyes, and sickness)

Cheers

Probably no more than cough syrup though. It's harmless enough as long as you don't mind doing a good Jason Statham in "Crank" impression!

I had used stuff like these for a period of 6 weeks a few years ago, when I was 17 and a half stone. I soon came down to 14 and a half stone within 3 months ish. They did help me but how much I am unsure. I did not have any side affects apart from being kept awake if taken too late due to the caffiene content.

My advice, if you have a busy day or unable to drink green tea, due to time or taste(like me) then these are alright but only when you are sticking to a good cutting diet and gym routine. Taking these on their own will not aid fat loss in any significant way. Do not take them for longer than 6 weeks as you run the risk of having side affects that can cause major issues to your health.

If you can find alternative products for cheaper dont pass them down without reading into them as in my eyes Thermobol from maximuscle is a tad expensive.

Thanks BC,

As above my training and diet are about as good as they can be, I just fancied a boost for the last few pounds :)

Thanks

Andy

Do not do an ECA stack, if that's what you're thinking of (I take it I'm allowed to mention it in order to recommend people don't use it, if not sorry mods). It will mess you up.

You could try Tim Ferris' PAGG stack:

Policosanol: 20-25mg
Alpha lipoic acid: 100-300mg
Green tea flavanols decaffeinated with at least 325mg EGCG): 325mg
Garlic extract: 200mg

Before breakfast: AGG (no policosanol)
Before lunch: AGG
Before dinner: AGG
Before bed: PAGG

If you're interested a 5min google reveals the cheapest (on the rainforest) to be around £50, so not cheap at all.

IceAx, what is your current diet and exercise program?

Not sure why people think ephedrine is not allowed to be mentioned. It is present in a few products that you can buy over the counter and is not an illegal substance.

I'm sure there are supplement companies based in the UK that are selling proper ECA stacked tabs!

However, I can understand that it would be best to not recommend people to take it, but then the same can be said for taking aspirin when there is nothing wrong with you ;)

How come when the (e) hadnt been banned then no-one ever suffered problems with normal doses but as soon as its banned people say its bad for you. Especially as it only got banned because bathroom chemists were turning it into somthing fast.

I ran out of my er "volvo's" a bit back and havn't managed to find anything that comes close. I'm trialing Grenades at the moment. Lets see how they go
