Those are great looking. I'm glad to see Gigabyte have switched their high-end boards to black PCB. I wonder if sales have increased since the switch?

The boards look a lot better in this thread than they did on that awful site Gigabyte made for them.

Hopefully they won't leave the high end to Asus when it comes to Bulldozer and Ivy Bridge.

Shame a lot of the markup is probably for the killer NIC which is just a piece of over priced tat. They do look like solid motherboards tho.

Nice to see Gigabyte doing something different, just a shame they seem to have been suckered into the Killer NIC hype.

yep! better off with a "normal" mobo and using the saved cash for a second GPU or a new screen or something imo. mental price. not ocuk's fault, but for that kind of money i'd be wanting 12 ram slots and 2 cpu sockets at least. so we're talking server stuff for that kind of money.

They look amazing, might just buy one.

Glad to see that the X58 is still getting some love. i7s are by far the best and most robust chip ATM.

i love how people see a £500 motherboard and not a word is said, but a £500 case comes to market and the witch hunters light their torches and grab their pitchforks
