What does "stay out of uncap" mean because I got that pop up on my screen a couple of times but didn't have a clue what I was supposed to do.

It means don't enter the enemy spawn points (i.e. on conquest it is the furthest back flag on the other team which u cannot capture and in Rush if u are defender u can't enter the attacker's spawn point). Most servers have a problem with this on Conquest, less so on Rush.

I normally agree with the not attacking people near their bases but last night we were up against 12 players who camped in their spawn at Harvest Day. They were that far in that the defending team on Rush had to enter the limits of the map to reach them. I think one squad ventured out to arm the m-com charges once in a 100 ticket game. Must have been a lot of snipers as every spot was coming up with the sniper voice. Bit silly really as the map is so vehicle dependent.

I kept spamming the Q key

Ahhh right so that's the key!

This sounds really bad but I've always wondered how you request for medic/ammo as I've seen it done by others before.

I needed to know this yesterday when I had ran out of tracers/rockets and had one clip of ammo left on Heavy Metal. I was just jumping up and down and knifing this guy's face instead. He never game me ammo...

So it's the same key thats used for spotting? Or do I have my key bindings different?

This is usually how it works

Press Q 10 times, scream " GIVE ME THE F'ING AMMO " in chat box, stab and shoot your team mate a few times. Shout again " GIVE ME AMMO " in chat box.

Guy drops ammo

You have to aim at the player and press Q. If aiming at a medic, you'll call out "I need a medic!". If looking at an assault, you'll call out "I need ammo!".

The same is for the reverse, if you are a medic and aiming at an injured team mate, pressing Q will make you shout "Let me heal you!" and something like "Let me give you ammo!" if you are assault.

If you're in a vehicle an aim at an engineer, you'll call out "I need repair!" and the reverse, you'll call out "Let me fix you up!".

With ammo boxes its normally quicker to just kill an enemy Assault and chuck down 1 from his kit unfortunately ><

I do have fond memories of 1 Cold War level with Lightweight, Shotgun+ and an autoshotgun where i was running around killing the attackers and there were that many ammo boxes left lying around i never ran out of ammo.

Ahh that's cleared it up! Cheers. Time for some Q key spamming then!

spamming Q blocks the key for 30 seconds so resist the urge to mash the keyboard as it will result in u waiting longer before the pillock ur knifing in the face realises what ur after.

a good player will press q before he fires!

I do that all the time, it costs me some kills from time to time with other people nicking the kill shot but I still do it because spotting helps the team, plus I get points if someone else kills them anyway

gotta spot them when at range, also wookies need to understand they are recon and not snipers... they just happen to have a sniper rifle to choose, snipers who just sit they firing away and then getting angry when they run out of ammo wind me up.

a good recon, will spot anything that moves and then rain down a mortar just as you lite the charge in rush, his ammo should last a life time, pick your shots and when you kill another recon... move position

I never stop spotting and i also always deploy ammo packs and med packs even if there are a few already around me, you never know when they're going to disappear.

A good recon will be running with you whilst you charge into the mcom, dropping sense mines and getting ready to rig the surrounding area with C4.

iv just played in a tourny of bc2 and i have to say that playing with a team that know what there doing and having someone set the orders does enhances the all round game play

its an unranked server so KDR does not effect your stats

its not as good as bf2 in some ways but its still good...........
