DnB thread!

Mosiac Volume One from Exit Records is brilliant if you like the stripped down and minimal sound.

This stuff is going to divide opinion and I guarantee someone will shout 'THIS ISN'T DRUM AND BASS LOL' at me :p

You might want to check out http://live.breakbeat.co.uk/live/ tonight

A massive show from D&BTV Live as the Brazilian showman, DJ Marky enters the studio for what is bound to be the mightiest of sets. Also inside, New Zealand duo The Upbeats & MC Kemo, and System playing his first DJ set for D&BTV Live.

Looks like a very good show indeed. Broadcast starts at around 7pm GMT

damn, haven't watched DNBTV in ages... shame i'm out tonight for the footy otherwise i'd tune in (<3 the upbeats).

on a side note, anyone see the show when marky went nuts at stamina mc when he didn't sing along to LK?

was truly lolworthy :D

Marky's been at it for years, he know's what he's doing. The whole situation with him and Stamina at DNBTV Live was stupid yeah, but to call him average is just funny hahaha

hmm, average isn't really what i meant (wrote that after a fair few beers :p )

i'm not really a fan of that track, some of his stuff i like, but ultimately i just prefer the european way of doing d'n'b

each to their own but ever since pfm, photek, skanna, funky technicians etc stopped producing it has sucked imo

got 99.9% of bukem sets from said era and they're incredible and still get regular listens

it does all sound the same to me, it's all essentially 2 step. the amen era was much better. pendulum have a lot to answer for.

this was when it had a soul
