Test Drive 2 has been released & is available to download on steam

Anyone experience mircrostuttering, its fine for a couple of seconds then does a slow down for half second then goes back to normal? it's a pain when trying to handle the vehicles.
 
I have to say this game is a total shambles.

I'm not expecting a sim, I played TDU so know what to expect, but in almost every way this is worse. The physics are atrocious and the wheel support is none existent - I was performing 90 degree turns at 50mph With my pinky on a fanatec wheel which about breaks my arm with it's ffb in other games. Braking is digital, not analogue, and the only thing decent IMO are the gfx and fps.

If you at with a pad it might be worth a punt, but for a wheel - save your money.

one of the cars flips upside down on even a small jump, i think its the caterham give it a try the model obviously has a bug because it flips over the exact same way everytime

Total shambles is a bit strong,i agree the wheel user has been shafted.Ive finally got used to the handling with the g25 with a lot of messing around with the settings.
The things that need fixing are the on/off brake.The force feedback which does`nt seem to work. Tdu1 had a feature where your gearchange setup changed from car to car.It would change from gated change to paddle change depending on what car you where driving.
Im still enjoying the game and a patch would turn it from average but flawed to an amazing game.
 
i ordered on weds , was disptached on thursday on thursday morning i asked play wether i would still get the pre order bonuses as its still advertised as such on site and in my confirmation email.

i still havent even got a reply... almost 24hours later...
 
steam doesnt come with casino though so its like buying an incomplete game , if you do want it you have to pay 1/3 of what the game cost for it lol
 
Post woman has been and gone. Just another bill, not the game.

I'm sorry, but when I pre-order something I fully well expect it to arrive the day before or on the day of the release of the product regardless of expected delivery times. Quite pee'd off really.

They take 2 days at the earliest, you never get them the next day from play, and occasionally it takes 3-5 days as stated in the Email.
 
Play and Amazon suck for this kind of thing. I always order from Game or shopto who usually get it to you on Wednesday/Thursday. Although I believe there are people who still haven't gotten their copies from there either!
 
How the hell do you go online mode? I didn't have a atari account so I set it as offline mode as I couldn't be bothered to register at the time but I can't find the option to go online now!
