Laptop memory help

Hi All i,m after some info regarding memory on a laptop , i,m not that well up on it , can anyone tell me what is the highest type is 6400 the highest ? feedback needed thanks :confused:

I have a Dell D630 Latitude Laptop 2GHZ

6400 is 800mhz, and the best timings you can get I think is 4-4-4, although I'm not sure on this.

Although looking at your laptop spec the max it can handle is 5300 RAM that runs at 667mhz.

thanks and is kingston a good make or what do u recommend ?

Kingston is a good make

. Corsair and Crucial as well, not sure on other brands though.
