Fashion without looking "common"

Here is another thing though, if you are not overweight, even better if you are in shape. You can look nicer, easier.

The same clothes can look good on me now that looks crap on the me from 18 months ago.

Just for reference I'm not a fatty but then not skinny either.
40" chest
15.5" neck
33" waist
32" leg

I know you like to think your Primark jeans are as good as £110 nudie jeans, but here's the facts.

Your Primark jeans are not cheap because they're from Primark.

They're cheap because they're ****. They're in Primark because they're ****.

They're made of bad denim, they're badly cut and badly made.

Don't get me wrong, you couldn't pay me enough to have G-STAR RAW DENIM printed on my leg, it's not going to happen. I also wear lots of cheap clothes.

But you pays your money...

On to the OP... shop in smaller shops, shop online, there's plenty of stuff that's either got very little or no branding on it, or has branding on it that's not so common. Get a little more independent, or wear less-known brands. That's it. You don't have to wear Bench or G-Star or Henleys, not all designer labels are in three inch high lettering.

For example, Carhartt make lovely jeans. They're not stupid money and for the most part the branding is a 1 inch square label on the back pocket.

You are right - Fly53 make some nice jeans at decent prices, as do Carhartt (not owned a pair but seen a few I like)
The Addict jeans I'm wearing right now are fantastically comfortable, quality denim and look good (sizes run large compared to most brands though) - almost completely unbranded too.

You don't have to spend billions of pounds, but pull on a pair of £7 Tesco or Primark jeans and then pull on these ones I'm wearing now (£70 RRP, available from around £25 online) and the difference is night and day.

I'm a shameless Addict fanboy. Some days I get dressed, look in the mirror, and have to change what I'm wearing because I'm pretty much head to foot in Addict stuff. You're right about the branding, it's quite subtle for the most part. The quality is amazing.

I am currently 110% in love with my Method Jacket. Best stowable hood system ever. Branding? 1.5inch gloss black over black logo on the chest, 1 inch white patch sewn on the bottom right hand corner. I think minimal is the word. £48 in the sale. It's ace.

65kg is skinny in anyone's books for a grown man

and you do cook your own drugs (deny it, I dare you)

It depends what height he is surely. I'm around 85k but 6,4'. If I was 65kg I would be skinny at this height but by the same token if I was 85k at 5,8' I'd be absolutely massive.

I'd bet real money that you look like crap all the time.

Just sayin'

You're either trollin' or dress bad an' borin'

Just sayin'...

;)

I honestly don't care how I look, and I do have a great deal of contempt for hilariously expensive gear.

Anyway. I'll leave now, as anything more than this would probably constitute trolling.
