White popping things?

What are those little white things that pop when you throw / squeeze then? I think Americans call them pop pop snappers. What are they called here?

think there called thunder snaps last time i got them,

pretty sure they were banned here tho???

if it is those you are talking about i used to spend ages making giant ones out of clingfilm and emptying the contents into them then re wrap it up and scare some kids etc etc this is going back maybe 15-16 years tho

I was part of a full scale industrial disassembly line a few years back, getting all the powder out so a group of us could try and blow a door up.

It didn't work, but it did make an impressive bang! :)
